Brake Pads (Rear, Ceramic)

Akebono is a well-known maker of ceramic composite brake pads for Japanese and European cars. These pads are very low dust, have a progressive feel, and won't burn or chalk during extreme use. They are a great pad if you ever run your TDI on the track. Compared to a premium organic pad such as Pagid, these pads have less initial 'bite,' but respond more progressively to pedal pressure. Ceramic pads also have an extremely long life, much higher than organic, semi-metalic pads.
